The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is a popular Christian group in Ethiopia. They have their unique ways of doing things, including monastic traditions and practices. People in Ethiopia think highly of Saints Abune Tekle Haymanot, Abune Gebre Menfes Kidus, and Abune Aregawi because they are important individuals in Ethiopian monastic history.
